Leading Lyceum

Rosalba Fogliani is the Principal, and Andrew Wilkinson is the Director of Lyceum Education Centre Pty Ltd. The company runs:

• Lyceum English Language Australia, teaching English as a second language at the Lyceum centre in Flinders Lane and
• Lyceum Language Centre, teaching six languages other than English at Flinders Lane, in North Fitzroy, in Kew and in Malvern.

Rosalba and Andrew are fully qualified, highly experienced teachers of English and English Literature. Rosalba is also a teacher of Italian. Their first experience of teaching English as a second language was in 1985 in the Northern Territory of Australia.

Rosalba and Andrew established Lyceum in 1991 in their home city, Melbourne, first in the Melbourne University Student's precinct of North Fitzroy. Since then, along with their staff of approximately 40 teachers and six administrative assistants, they have been actively and personally running Lyceum, building up to a total of four centres in the inner city of Melbourne, and catering for 1000 or more language students per term.

Our success is due to a small but important number of factors: the personalised tuition in the small group setting, the communicative method, the excellent teaching and administrative staff and the very close care and involvement of the leaders of the school.
