All our teachers speak English as their first language and they are highly qualified and experienced in teaching international students. Our teachers provide classes which are culturally enriching and carefully tailored to the interests of international students.

At Lyceum high quality is assured with a unique approach to structuring the course. Teachers work as a team, consulting one another and planning so as to give you a great and comprehensive course full of variety.

Teaching Method

Our teaching approach is communicative and topic-based. You will learn English in ways that are practical so you will be able to use your new skills anywhere. Beginners will learn quickly how to survive and thrive in an English speaking environment, for work, study and leisure.

At higher levels you will become able to discuss current affairs and social, political and economic issues confidently and successfully. At all levels students will learn something about Australian culture and way of life. As part of your courses you will learn about the history, literature, film and arts of Australia and your teachers will include activities and excursions outside the classroom as part of your course.

Our admin staff are highly qualified with university degrees in languages and business administration.
