Terms of Enrolment

Enrolment and Accommodation Placement fees are non-refundable.

If your visa application is not granted and provided that sufficient evidence of visa refusal is given to Lyceum English Language Australia by the refusing Australian Authority, a full refund of tuition fees will be made, except for the $150 Enrolment Fee.

If written cancellation of the enrolment is received 28 days prior to commencement, a full refund of tuition fees will be made, minus a $150 cancellation fee.

If written cancellation of the enrolment is received less than 28 days prior to commencement, we will refund 70% of the tuition fees.

No tuition fees will be refunded if you advise cancellation on or after your course commencement date.

If your visa application is rejected, your airport pickup and accommodation fees will be refunded in full, less the accommodation placement fee.

If your airline flight details change, please give us as much notice as possible. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, an additional airport pickup fee is payable.

If your accommodation is arranged by Lyceum English and you cancel your accommodation, you must give 14 days notice, or, a minimum of two weeks' rent is to be paid plus the placement fee.

You must give at least two weeks' notice if you wish to change your accommodation and another placement fee of $180 is then payable.

Where Lyceum English cannot offer the course for which you have enrolled, a full refund of tuition fees will be made.

If your course is cancelled by Lyceum English your airport pickup and accommodation fees and placement fee will be refunded in full if they have been arranged through Lyceum English.

All refunds will be made within 2 weeks if Lyceum English cancels your course and within 4 weeks if you cancel.

Study days lost due to late commencement on courses are not recoverable. A full week's tuition is payable in weeks which include public holidays. There are no refunds for public holidays or absences occurring during your course.

If study credit is granted, it will be for the unused part of your tuition fees. Study credit is provided for exceptional circumstances only, and at the discretion of Lyceum English, and is not transferable.

CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

Course fees are non-transferable.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing.

Lyceum English reserves the right to expel a student who is in breach of the Australian Government visa requirements, or does not adhere to the discipline code of the school. In such cases no refund will be made.

There are no classes on public holidays:

Easter	Apr 10-14th
Anzac Day	Apr 25th
Queens Birthday	Jun 8th
Melbourne Cup Day	Nov 3rd

Insurance:

Whilst it is not compulsory to take out personal health/travel insurance in your country before you come to Australia, it is strongly recommended. If you are entering Australia on a Student Visa, however, you must take out Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

INDEMNITY AND RELEASE

Lyceum English dispute resolution processes do not circumscribe your right to pursue other legal remedies. You also have the right to be represented by a nominee if you so choose. This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australian Consumer Protection laws.

Declaration

By signing the enrolment form, I, the student whose name appears below, agrees that Lyceum English Language Australia, its teachers, employees and/or appointed agents shall not be held responsible or liable and I will not make any claim against any of them for any damage, loss, delay or expense, bodily injury or death and/or property damages which I may suffer or cause in connection with, or during my attendance at any premises owned/leased/operated or controlled by Lyceum English Language Australia, and during my attendance at, and/or participation in any activities and/or excursions whether educational, cultural, sporting, recreational or otherwise arranged or conducted by Lyceum English Language Australia, and/or my participation in any accommodation, and/or airport transfers arranged for me.

I agree that the laws of the State of Victoria in the Commonwealth of Australia shall apply to this agreement. The aforementioned shall extend to executors, administrators and assigns of the signatory and Lyceum English Language Australia.

Please Note:

That students' personal information may be made available to Commonwealth and State authorities.

That students must notify Lyceum English Language Australia regarding any change of address or telephone number while enrolled at Lyceum English Language Australia.

Lyceum English Language Australia generally accepts students who are 18 years of age or over. Students under the age of 18 will be accepted, but all students who are under 18 need to check with us regarding enrolment requirements. For example we will need to know about parental/guardian arrangements that you have made or for which we may need to assist you.

Lyceum English Language Australia reserves the right to change conditions, courses, timetables, class locations, class size, course commencement and fees at any time without notice.

Lyceum English Language Australia reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrolments.

I agree for information to be shared between Lyceum English Language Australia and my nominated representative/agent.
